Three years after, Larry Moore from Surfing Magazine saw Chang's photography and put Chang on staff at the magazine in 1979.
In the 1980s, the photography industry saw new motor drives, improved lenses and higher-quality film stock. Chang applied these techniques to shooting the sport of surfing. On August 10 is the birthday of

Jan Lukás, renowned Czech photographer born in 1915 in České Budějovice, Austria-Hungary
He is a legend, one of the principle founders of Czech photojournalism and of humanistic photography. His documentary images reflect the 20th century – and the people that formed it – on such a broad scale and to such depth that is hard to trace in the work of any other Czech photographer.

His works include photojournalism conceived in a humanistic tone, travel snapshot, landscape photography, portraits and photos of Braun’s sculpture work. In his snapshots he frequently and successfully used striking details, and less traditional pictorial composition. From 1967 he lived in New York City.
