«Obviamente cuando era joven el mundo del arte no estaba tan desarrollado como ahora, así que trabajé como guardia de seguridad, ese es el trabajo que elegí porque no me quitaba nada. (...) Durante ese tiempo estaba todo el tiempo dibujando, planeando mi trabajo, luego me iba a casa -tomaba el turno de noche-, iba a trabajar a casa durante el día, dormía un par de horas y luego me iba a trabajar. Eso fue hace mucho tiempo. Pronto me libré de esa broma de tener que hacer eso, porque pronto mi trabajo empezó a venderse lo suficiente como para vivir. Desde entonces, todo lo demás que hice fue construir. Construí todos mis estudios, no físicamente, de hecho conseguí contratistas, albañiles, etc., y los supervisé. Así que la construcción y la arquitectura es mi otra pasión. Me encanta la arquitectura.»

«El proyecto de mis sueños siempre fue tener una galería, un estudio, talleres, un parque lleno de esculturas. Estoy haciendo realidad mi sueño mientras estoy sentado aquí. Cada escultura que hago es parte del sueño, porque las esculturas van de aquí al parque. Tenemos muy pocas galerías que me representen, así que nos gusta representarnos a nosotros mismos. Este lugar es un destino.»

«Me encanta Picasso. Me gustaría conocerlo. Creo que era una persona excepcional. (...) El otro es Goya. Francisco de Goya es mi artista favorito. La Serie Oscura, la Serie de la Guerra, los grabados y las cosas que hizo, y el cuadro de El 3 de mayo, los soldados ejecutando a los campesinos, es absolutamente asombroso, de nuevo españoles, dos españoles. Un artista más contemporáneo con el que me encantaría pasar tiempo es Antony Gormley; hermosas esculturas, sus obras son alucinantes, me encantan. Es dos años mayor que yo. Y por su locura, me encantaría pasar tiempo con Jackson Pollock.»

«Obviously when I was young the art world wasn't as developed as it is now, so I worked as a security guard, that's the work that I choiced 'cause it took nothing from me. (...) During that time I was all the time sketching, planning my work, then I went home - I took the night shift -, go home work during the day, sleep a couple of hours and then go to work. That was long long time ago. Soon got rid of that joke of having to do that, because soon my work started selling enough to live from. Since then anyting else that I did was building. I built all my studios, not physically, actually got contracters, bricklayers, etc., and I supervised them. So building and architecture is my other passion. I love architecture.»

«My dream project was always been to have a gallery, studio, workshops, a park full of sculptures. I'm doing my dream as I'm sitting here. Every single sculpture I do is part of the dream, 'cause the sculptures goes from here into the park. We have very few galleries that represents me, so we like to represent ourselves. This place is a destination.»

«I love Picasso. I like to meet him. I think he was an exceptional person. (...) The other one is Goya. Francisco de Goya is my favourite artist. The Dark Series, the War Series, etchings and things that he did, and the painting The Third of May, the soldiers executing the peasants, is absolutely amazing, again Spaniards, two Spaniards. A more contemporary artist that I would love to spend time with is Antony Gormley; beautiful sculptures, his stuff is mindblowing, absolutely love it. He's two years older than me. And just for the madness I'd love to spend my time with Jackson Pollock.»
