"I arrived to Impressionism naturally. Without effort, without violence. Not that I chose it. I have it with my vocation." This claim made Baitler was considered really an impressionist painter. This was partly. His beginnings had the academic seal in his first exhibition, 1931. Later, upon receiving the teachings of Torres Garcia for seven years, consolidated his technique, he managed to establish composition systems based on the golden measure, deepen the use of colors, chiaroscuro, acquiring fluency in the movement of the brush stroke and mobility of pictorial material, ie, the solid foundation that marked the students of Torres Garcia school. However, he abandon learned canons and handled his way that in principle it match with various aspects of impressionism and post-impressionism. Nature enthusiast, he painted outdoors. In the city and countryside. Downtown streets, suburban villages, railway stations, cultivated and wild fields, the Miguelete stream, a time favorite topic), all of which contribute to the landscape genre.
