Shibari surrealista / Surreal Shibari

"El Ultimo Deseo de un Hombre Santo / The Last Desire of a Holy Man", dibujo / drawing

Universo erótico / Erotic Universe - "El demiurgo / The Demiurge", arte digital / digital art

The Demiurge is a concept from the Platonic, Neopythagorean, Middle Platonic, and Neoplatonic schools of philosophy for an artisan-like figure responsible for the fashioning and maintenance of the physical universe. The term was subsequently adopted by the Gnostics. Although a fashioner, the demiurge is not necessarily thought of as being the same as the creator figure in the familiar monotheistic sense, because both the demiurge itself plus the material from which the demiurge fashions the universe are considered either uncreated and eternal, or the product of some other being, depending on the system. In Gnosticism the Demiurge, creator of the material world, was not God but the Archon.

Shibari surrealista / Surreal Shibari

"Antares", arte digital / digital art
Colaboración con / Collaboration with Pierre Fudarylí

Pierre Fudarylí en "El Hurgador" / in this blog:

Shibari surrealista / Surreal Shibari
"Virgen Dolorosa / Painful Virgin", arte digital / digital art

Hector Pineda is a Mexican artist born in 1968 who uses digital art, traditional drawing and collage as means of expression.
His art is provocative and transgressive, his claim is the constant struggle between human instincts and socialization, urban and cultural rules as religion. He is fascinated by the bizarre, the grotesque, the beautiful and the erotic, in many of his works blend these ingredients to express and criticize, to give a message or complaint.

Erotic universe.
I explore erotic view of the mathematical universe, fractals, geometry, legends and myths, the external physical reality and the world of dreams, our physical world is an abstract and complex mathematical structure full of beauty.

"Cadáver exquisito / Exquisite Corpse", pintura y collage / painting and collage
Colaboración con / Collaboration with James Knowles

«When I realized my necessity for art creation, I decided to use as many materials and techniques as I could. There is a relationship between each of them and my mood, or the feeling I am looking for. I never do a sketch, so my artwork is changing all the time, with particular ideas on a topic. The adding of elements is like a flow, and I'm choosing between different options all the time. Drawing is more relaxing but definitely requires more concentration. Some days, I discover myself thinking about a current drawing while I´m eating, bathing, driving, in a job meeting... Sometimes, I only remember flashes of the people around me opening their mouths in slow motion without sound. On the other hand, collage is very funny, always looking for images in magazines, and using scissors, glue, paper, and more. Recently I am taking photographic shots of scenarios using elements from my collection of objects. I want learn other techniques, like watercolour and silverpoint, since for me the different ways to express my ideas will give me more options to create series and projects, keeping me active and healthy; curiosity is the lust of the mind!»

"Hambriento / Hungry", dibujo / drawing

"Pedes in terra ad sidera visus", arte digital / digital art

«Many people inspired me through their thinking, actions and works. Scientists, artists, philosophers, many of them, I could mention a short list at this moment but I think its more important to say than many of my artworks have been inspired by people whose names I can't remember, or who I never knew; a lyric from a song, an image, a movie quote, a book title, a word combination, street art, a TV or movie scene... this information catches my attention and I begin to imagine a new artwork. Then I look for more information about the topic until I feel I've enough in my mind to start. Even during the process, new ideas are always coming because I'm sensitized about the theme. I am always searching in the net, reading books and writing my own thoughts.»

«Art is for me a source of knowledge, of criticism and debate, as well as a tool that allows the outgrowing of a person or a group. My particular intention is to encourage the spectator to meditate about certain essential aspects regarding human existence, particularly THE DESIRE.
Media today permits access to millions of works executed by people belonging to different cultures and time lines. This clash, affecting not only culture but also art, forms part of my influence, which results in a complex compound of works always looking for an introspective reflection.»

Shibari surrealista / Surreal Shibari
"Bajo el sol de Venus / Under the Sun of Venus"

Surreal Shibari.
«Shibari, more correctly known as Kinbaku is an ancient Japanese artistic form of rope bondage that has many styles and uses. It is related in style to other traditional Japanese arts such as Ikebana, Sumi-e (black ink painting) and Chanoyu (the tea ceremony). Among the many uses of Shibari are dynamic living sculpture, shared meditative practice, deep relaxation for flexibility of mind and body, expression of power exchange, and intimate erotic restraint.
I started this series in 2010 after knowing the work of David Lawrence, and join a virtual community called Fetlife. Soon with David, Clover (one of his models) I initiated an interesting conversation for some projects.
The pain and pleasure, life and death related intimately in a dreamlike atmosphere is what I show in these images, the time which is a state of mind between the real and surreal.»

Bernd Dreilich (3Licht)

Bernd Dreilich lives in Cologne, Germany. He has a degree as a social-worker and master of arts in social services administration. He's working with mentaly disordered people in my community, who suffer from mental diseases like schizophrenia, manic depression or personality disorders (known as borderline), helping them to live their lives as normal and independent as possible in their own homes and their neighbourhoods.
«My art is in some way influenced by my work and the things I witnessed throughout it. I'm trying to express inner feelings and wondering how subconciousness influences the process of making art. That's why I love surrealism and the concept of it. I can't paint, have no knowledge of how to draw and no kind of education in art. That's why I use photomanipulation.»
