"Rinoceronte indio / Indian Rhinoceros"
Grabado coloreado a mano / Hand colored engraving

The rhinoceros that appears in the work of Maggie Taylor "Revellers" corresponds with the one painted by Jean Baptiste Audry, and that we saw in the third post of the series. The one in "The signs point to yes," I have not managed to identify, but I'll include the corresponding reference when I do it (if it happens). As for the others, correspond to the image of the Indian rhinoceros published in the plates of fifth volume of "The Naturalist's Library" by William Jardine.
I take this opportunity to offer a brief biographical note on Jardine, and the rest of the plates in two versions of the Edition W.H. Lizards published in 1836 in Edinburgh: the one that can be accessed online here (Google books), scanned from the copy in the Universitary Library of Ghent, and another scanned of the copy of the library of the University of California that you can read and download in Internet Archive, here.
All drawings are signed by James Hope Stewart.

"Rinoceronte bicorne de Sumatra / Two Horned Sumatran Rhino" (Internet Archive)

Sir William Jardine, 7th Baronet of Applegirth, Dumfriesshire (23 February 1800 in Edinburgh – 21 November 1874 in Sandown, Isle of Wight) was a Scottish naturalist born in 1800. He is known for his editing of a long series of natural history books, The Naturalist's Library.
Jardine was a co-founder of the Berwickshire Naturalists' Club, and contributed to the founding of the Ray Society.
While ornithology was his main passion, he also studied ichthyology, botany and geology, writing a work on burrows and traces, the Ichnology of Annandale, his ancestral estate. His private natural history museum and library are said to have been the finest in Britain.
Jardine made natural history available to all levels of Victorian society by editing and issuing the hugely popular forty volumes of The Naturalist's Library (1833-1843). The series was divided into four main sections: Ornithology (14 volumes), Mammalia (13 volumes), Entomology (7 volumes), and Ichthyology (6 volumes); each prepared by a leading naturalist. James Duncan wrote the insect volumes. The artists responsible for the illustrations included Edward Lear. The work was published in Edinburgh by W. H. Lizars. The frontispiece is a portrait of Pierre André Latreille.
His other publications included an edition of Gilbert White's Natural History of Selborne which re-established White's reputation, Illustrations of Ornithology (1825–43), and an affordable edition of Alexander Wilson's Birds of America.
He died in 1874.

James Hope Stewart was the major artist for 1.351 illustrations in the 40 volumes of Sir William Jardine's The Naturalist's Library. Thousands of copies of each volume were sold when were first published between 1833 and 1843, and again in later issues. The number of Stewart's printed plates are to be counted in milliones of copies, rather than thousands. However, the man who contributed so greatly to the success of this early publishing venture of small natural history volumes for the general public has remained in total obscurity.
He was born at Hillside on 2 August 1789. He prepared the original watercolor drawings for 213 mammals, 177 birds, 140 fish and fifteen insect plates, i.e. 545 signed plates in 28 of the 40 volumes (though there were many more plates in his style, but unsigned). He was an amateur artist who lived about six miles southeast of Jardine Hall at Gillenbie.
