Anna Wypych es una joven pintora polaca que crea pinturas hiperrealistas (generalmente de mujeres), con elementos surrealistas. A menudo complementa sus obras de arte con poemas y textos cortos sobre sus inspiraciones.
Recibió Máster de la Academia de Bellas Artes en 2011. Durante sus estudios recibió ocho premios y becas nacionales. Ganó el Gran Premio en el concurso nacional "Artistic Journey of Hestia 2010", "Pomeranian Artistic Hope 2011" y el Certificado de Excelencia, Palm Art Award 2012, Alemania. La pintura Wypych está incluida en la colección permanente del Museo Europeo de Arte Moderno de Barcelona, España, y el Museo Nacional en Gdansk, Polonia.

«Soy artista, mamá, esposa y humana. Vivo en la costa del hermoso mar Báltico y mis tradiciones artísticas son como Polonia, situadas en algún lugar entre la Europa oriental tradicional y el oeste más moderno. Me encanta el taller de arte tradicional, celebro las largas horas calmas de trabajo en mis pinturas. También me gusta usar herramientas modernas, y soy activa en las redes sociales; gracias a Internet me siento ciudadana del mundo. Mi arte es una mezcla del artista romántico clásico con una actitud tradicional de trabajo duro, pero el estilo realista se amplía con elementos de hiperrealismo, surrealismo e imaginación pura. Mi arte es como yo, como la persona sobreexcitada que siempre tiene que hacer más de lo que se necesita, y me resulta muy fácil.»

«Pinté a mi modelo y mi amiga Nina. La elegí por su mirada increíblemente intensa. Sin embargo esta pintura no va de una persona en particular. Me inspiré en la obra "Negra", pintada por Anna Bininska en 1884 (en el blog aquí) . Este cuadro, que sufrió un azaroso destino, fue recuperado en Polonia en 2012. Una mujer está pintada desde una vista ligeramente baja, como si estuviera asustada. Durante mucho tiempo, por alguna razón no pude dejar de pensar en este trabajo. Pensaba en las mujeres entonces y en lo que son ahora. Las mujeres siguen siendo bellas y sensibles, pero también son fuertes, valientes, libres, ambiciosas y apasionadas. Somos como un fuego, que domesticado se apaga fácilmente, pero sin restricciones puede devorar bosques enteros, y al mismo tiempo somos como el agua que se supone que está en calma, pero que podría perforar y aplastar rocas. Todavía conservamos nuestras emociones, pero esto ya no es una desventaja sino nuestra fortaleza. Nuestros defectos nos hacen verdaderamente hermosas. Mi mujer de rojo tiene una mancha en el hombro, pero el defecto es lo que la hace perfecta. El siglo XXI es el momento en que las mujeres se dan cuenta de que son fuertes.»
«I painted my model and friend Nina. I chose her because of her incredibly intense gaze. However, this painting, is not about particular person. I was inspired by the work "Negress" painted by Anna Bininska in 1884 (in this blog here). This image after a tumultuous fate, retrieved to Poland in 2012. A woman painted is shown slightly from the bottom as if frightened. For a long time, for some reason I could not stopped thinking about this work. I was thinking about women then and what they are now. Women now are still beautiful and sensitive, but they are also strong, brave, free, ambitious and passionate. We are like a fire, that tamed easily put out, but unrestricted can devour entire forests, and at the same time we are as the water which is supposed to be calm but could bore, and crush rocks. We are still emotional but this is no longer a disadvantage but our strength. Our defects make us true beautiful. My woman in red has a blemish on her shoulder but the flaw is what makes her perfect. Twenty-first century is the time when women just realised that they are strong.»

«En mis pinturas comparto emociones y pensamientos, impresiones para conmover al espectador, pero siempre de forma positiva. Quiero compartir sólo las cosas buenas; de las malas, tenemos suficiente alrededor. Creo que todos tienen a veces que pensar en la vida, en "grandes" asuntos importantes, como el amor, el significado de la vida, los valores por los que quieren ser guiados. Creo que cuando tenemos que tomar una decisión vital importante, pensamientos como ese ocurren en nuestra mente, en algún lugar en el límite de la conciencia. Creo que es cuando nos convertimos en lo que realmente somos. Como si, por cierto, nos aclaramos a nosotros mismos, en todo esto. Mis pinturas son solo eso. Me gustaría que inspiraran experiencias, pensamientos y sentimientos. Creo que estoy difundiendo el pensamiento humanista, y en términos más simples, comparto el bien que experimento.»

«Una un poco molesta, otra un poco asustada, ambas bellas y fuertes.
La hermandad entre hombres, tanto como entre mujeres, es algo más profundo y verdadero que lo que vemos en las series de televisión y películas. Es algo mucho más complicado. Mi pintura trata de un vínculo único que se crea entre las mujeres cercanas entre sí. La consanguinidad no es lo más importante aquí. Un dulce "me gustas" y "mejor amigo" no es suficiente. El verdadero vínculo es mucho más complicado. Solo las hermanas sabrán de lo que estoy hablando. Hay algunas cosas que simplemente sabemos y no necesitamos hablar de ellas, otros casos deben ser cuidadosamente discutidos, generalmente durante conversaciones casuales sin importancia, sobre cosas sin importancia. Por ejemplo, tienes una conversación con tu hermana sobre el color de las uñas y de repente, te sientes mejor respecto a tus preocupaciones y sabes qué hacer. No sé cómo funciona, pero lo hace. Una hermana es siempre una hermana. Es bueno saber eso; en algún lugar donde hay una chica como yo, pero completamente diferente. Mi hermana.»
«One little bit annoyed, other one a little bit scared, both beautiful and strong.
Sisterhood as brotherhood, is something deeper and truer, than what we see in the TV series and movies. It’s something much more complicated. My painting is about unique bond that is created between the women close to each other. Blood relation is not the most important here. Sweet „liking” and „best friend” is not enough. True bond is much more complicated. Only the sisters will know about what I am talking about. Some things we just know and we do not need to talk about them, other cases should be carefully talked over, usually during casual unimportant conversations, about unimportant things. For example, you have conversation with your sister about colours of nails and suddenly afterward, you feel better with your worries and know what to do. I do not know how it works, but it does. Sister is always a sister. This is nice to know that , somwhere there is a girl just like me, but completely different. My sister.»

«Para mí es muy importante crear algo que sea verdadero para mí, algo mío, único en cierto modo. Creo que es detectable cuando el artista trata de seguir tendencias que él / ella no sienten realmente. Creo que tiene que tocar tu alma, y entonces la obra tiene la oportunidad de ser grandiosa. Lo que significa para mí "Ser creativo" está conectado con mi definición de artista, arte y obra de arte. Esos son conceptos muy difíciles de definir, es un trabajo para filósofos más inteligentes que yo.»

todas las opciones, possibillities,
reflexiones de decisiones y errores.
Ella mira su trabajo.
Ahora es lo que es. Está hecho.
Ella entrará y volará lejos.
De algun modo.
Para esas aventuras.

Anna con su obra "Verdad primitiva" / with her work "Primitive Truth"
Anna Wypych is a young Polish painter who creates hyper-realistic oil paintings, usually with women, with surreal elements. She often complements her artworks with poems and short texts about her inspirations.
She received the master’s degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in 2011. During her studies received eight national awards and grants. She won the Grand Prix in the national competition "Artistic Journey of Hestia 2010", "Pomeranian Artistic Hope 2011" and the Certificate of Excellence, Palm Art Award 2012, Germany. Wypych painting is included in the permanent collection of the European Museum of Modern Art, Barcelona in Spain, and National Museum in Gdansk, Poland.

«I am an artist, mom, wife, and human. I live on the coast of the beautiful Baltic sea and my art traditions are like Poland, located somewhere between traditional eastern Europe and more modern west. I love traditional art workshop, I celebrate long calm hours of work on my paintings. I also like to use modern tools, and am active in social media, because of the internet I feel like a citizen of the world. My art is a mixture of classic romantic artist with a hard working traditional attitude, but realist style is extended by elements of hyper-realism, surrealism and pure imaginative. My art is like me, like the overexcited person who always has to do more than it is needed, and is moody easy.»

«In my paintings I share emotions and thoughts, impressions to move the viewer, but always in a positive way. I want to share only with good things, bad ones we have enough around. I believe that everyone has a sometimes think about life, about important “big” matters, like love, the meaning of life, the values that he/she wants to be guided by. I think that when we have to make an important life decision, thoughts like that happens in our mind, somewhere on the borderline of consciousness. I think that’s when we become who we really are. As if, by the way, we clarify ourselves, in all of this. My paintings are just about that. I would like them to inspire to experiences, thinking and feeling. I think I’m spreading humanistic thought, and in the simplest terms, I share the good that I experience.»

«Raramente hago cambios en un proyecto ya comenzado. Esta vez tuve que hacerlos. Se suponía que era la pintura de un cuerpo que quería envolver con un capullo de encaje cuidadosament tejido. Cuando comencé a pintar me di cuenta de algo y decidí renunciar a todos los aditivos, y mirira la piel muy de cerca. Lo carnoso, a veces ardiente, a veces verdoso, con venas translúcidas aquí y allá lunares claros, estrías, celulitis, cicatrices del cuerpo, con todos esos finos detalles (tu historia) es fascinante. Es fácil y mundano decir simplemente que el cuerpo es grandioso y maravilloso, no siendo ideal, pero es mucho más difícil pensar y sentirlo realmente. Intenta ver tu cuerpo más amablemente. Es sorprendente lo que puede hacer y de hecho hace cada vez que respiras. Mira cómo millones de cosas hacen un trabajo muy duro para darle constantemente todo lo que necesita. El cuerpo no es tu esclavo que tiene que mirar, actuar y ser como esperas. Es su mejor amigo, que a veces puede hacer cosas increíbles, pero al mismo tiempo necesita descanso, cuidado y comprensión. Agradece a su cuerpo lo que le hace por tí, porque existe y es increíblemente grandioso e irremplazable para mantenete vivo.»
«I very rarely do changes in my already begun project. This time I had to. It was supposed to be the painting about a body which I wanted to wrap with a cocoon of painstakingly woven laces. When I started to paint I realized something and decided to resign from all additives, taking a really close look at the skin. The fleshy, sometimes burning, sometimes greenish, with here and there translucent veins, clear moles, stretch marks, cellulite, scars body, with all such finest details – your history – is fascinating. It is easy and mundane to just say that the body is great and wonderful being not ideal, but it is much more difficult to think and feel so, truly. Try to see your body more kindly. It is amazing what it can make and what it does with the every breath you take. See how the millions of things work very hard, constantly giving everything you need. The body is not your slave, who has to look, act and be, like you expect them. It is your best friend, who sometimes can make incredible things, but at the same time needs a rest, care and understanding. Thank your body for what it does to you, because it exists and is so incredibly great and irreplaceable in keeping you alive.»

«For me it is very important to create something what is true for me, and something my own, unique in a way. I think it is detectable when artist try to follow trends which he/she do not feel truly. I belief it have to touch your soul, then the work have chance to be great. What mean for me “Being creative” is connected with my definition of artist, art and artwork. Those are very difficult to define concepts, it is a job for smarter philosophers than I am.»
