El pasado sábado 23 de Mayo falleció un gran artista, el ruso Sergey Tyunkanov, según nos informó en el día de ayer su hija Tanya Miller. Sergey era un fantástico creador al cual le tengo un especial cariño, y cuya obra he publicado en varias oportunidades en este blog.
Sergey nació en Poronaisk, Rusia, en 1955, y desarrolló una notable carrera como pintor, acuarelista, dibujante y grabador.

Last Saturday, May 23rd, a great artist, the Russian Sergey Tyunkanov, passed away, according to his daughter Tanya Miller, who informed us yesterday. Sergey was a fantastic creator to whom I have a special affection, and whose work I have published in several opportunities in this blog.
Sergey was born in Poronaisk, Russia, in 1955, and developed a remarkable career as a painter, watercolorist, draftsman and engraver.
