Joseph Lorusso

Joseph Lorusso nació en Chicago, Illinois, en 1966 y recibió su formación formal en la American Academy of Art. Luego recibió su título de Bachiller en Bellas Artes del Instituto de Arte de Kansas City. De ascendencia italiano, Lorusso estuvo expuesto al arte desde una edad temprana. Joseph Lorusso was born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1966 and received his formal training at the American Academy of Art. He went on to receive his B.F.A. degree from the Kansas City Art Institute. Born of Italian descent, Lorusso was exposed to art at an early age. Through several early trips to Italy, his parents introduced him to the works of the Italian Masters. Lorusso would look to these influences throughout his early artistic development and they are still evident in his work today.

Annick Bouvattier

Annick Bouvattier, artista con sede en París, nació en Nevers, Francia, en 1964. Su padre, pediatra y amante del arte, le transmitió su gusto por la pintura desde su infancia. Annick Bouvattier, an artist based in Paris, was born in Nevers, France, in 1964. Her father, a pediatrician and art lover, passed on to her his love of painting from childhood. In 1982, with a scientific baccalaureate in her pocket, she abandoned the family tradition of medical studies to enroll in the "Berçot - Marie Rucki" fashion school, where she trained as a stylist for two years.
However, more attracted by the fashion show than by the shops, Annick Bouvattier quickly turned to film and advertising. A costume designer, she will often work in the Cinecittà studios in Rome. At the beginning of 1990, she decided to devote herself exclusively to painting. After two years of self-taught research, she became a student of Pierre Ramel, Mac'Avoy's disciple and master, from 1992 to 1996.

Dominique Amendola is a French artist that has been a painter for over 30 years. She started to draw and produce Art at the age of four. She raised three beautiful children and traveled extensively in Switzerland, Italy, and India. Over the years, she resided both in France and in the United States and even india for some years. Her work is now hanging in several private museums and castles in US and abroad. She paints many themes all mostly with figures or landscapes. Most of her paintings are small oil paintings but there are plenty of larger ones too.

Lajos Markos fue un artista húngaro-estadounidense, nacido en Budapest en 1917. Se formó en la Real Academia de Budapest.
Llegó a los Estados Unidos después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial y trabajó como retratista en la ciudad de Nueva York, pintando a celebridades como John Wayne, Robert Kennedy, el presidente Ronald Reagan y Pablo Casals.
En la década de 1960 se trasladó a Houston, Texas, donde se despertó su interés por el arte del oeste estadounidense. In the 1960s, he moved to Houston, Texas where he sparked an interest in Western American art. Examples of his work can be found in the Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and the Zigler Museum in Jennings, Louisiana, as well as other museums and private collections. JP Morgan acquired his works, which are housed today at its main headquarters.
He died in 1993.

Thomas Davidson

Thomas Davidson fue un pintor inglés nacido en Londres en 1842. Perdió la audición a los cuatro años, por lo que fue enviado como alumno privado al Asilo de Sordomudos de Old Kent Road, y posteriormente asistió a una escuela para sordos en Clapham.

Thomas Davidson was an English painter born in London in 1842. He lost his hearing at age four, whereupon he was sent as a private pupil to the Old Kent Road Asylum for the Deaf and Dumb, and subsequently attended a "hearing" school in Clapham.
Showing a flair for art, Davidson was admitted to the National Art Training School, Marlborough House (later the Royal College of Art); he went on to study under Francis Stephen Cary (1808-1880), James Mathews Leigh (1808-1860), and Alexander Johnston (1815-1891), before spending ten years at the Royal Academy, where he won the Academy's silver medals.
Davidson specialised in historical naval scenes. For periods his painting focused on particular themes; for example, he completed between 1894 and 1899 a series relating to Lord Nelson.
He died in 1919.

Machiko Naganuma

Machiko Naganuma nació en Japón y vive en los Estados Unidos desde hace mucho tiempo. Se graduó en Bellas Artes en el Instituto de Arte del Sur de California (2001).

Machiko joins ISEE Artists Gallery a couple of years ago. She is known for her watercolor paintings. She sells her paintings internationally, and whenever she has an art show in Japan all her paintings would sell out.

El metal se ha convertido en la principal herramienta para expresar mi vocabulario visual. El metal es muy seductor por una multitud de razones. Virginia T. Coleman is an American sculptor, painter, draftswoman and photographer. As we can read in her website:
«My artwork is an amalgamation of my multi faceted background. I adumbrate drawings like an architect, dapple color with a painter’s eye, capture compositions with the photographer’s quick lens, and weld forms together with a sculptor’s touch.
Metal has become the main tool to expressing my visual vocabulary. Metal is very seductive for a multitude of reasons. Its pure structural strength, its fragility to bend, its ability to capture time in its inherent chemistry, its reflective nature and its ease of joining via the lucid quality of a weld. I also use welding as a means of drawing lines upon metal.
The works follow three main trajectories. The first is an examination of nature of the built environment, the second is an expression of the ephemeral moments of life and the third is the continual study of the human figure.»

Charles Théophile Angrand fue un pintor neoimpresionista anarquista francés nacido en Criquetot-sur-Ouville en 1854.
Recibió formación artística en Rouen en la Académie de Peinture et de Dessin. Su primera visita a París fue en 1875, para ver una retrospectiva de la obra de Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot en la École des Beaux-Arts. Corot fue una influencia en los primeros trabajos de Angrand.
Practicó el puntillismo en un primer momento, pero como amigo de Georges Pierre Seurat y Paul Signac se vio influido por el neoimpresionismo y en su obra posterior introdujo contrastes fuertes y tonos puros. Fue uno de los fundadores del Salon des Indépendants. También enseñó en el Lycée Chaptal de París.
Murió en 1926.

Charles Théophile Angrand was a French anarchist neo-impressionist painter born in Criquetot-sur-Ouville in 1854.
He received artistic training in Rouen at Académie de Peinture et de Dessin. His first visit to Paris was in 1875, to see a retrospective of the work of Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot at École des Beaux-Arts. Corot was an influence on Angrand's early work.
He practiced pointillism at first, but as a friend of Georges Pierre Seurat and Paul Signac he was influenced by Neo-Impressionism and introduced strong contrasts and pure tones in his later work. He was one of the founders of the Salon des Indépendants. He also taught at the Lycée Chaptal in Paris.
He died in 1926.

Stevan Dohanos fue un artista e ilustrador estadounidense de la escuela de realismo social, nacido en Lorain, Ohio, en 1907, conocido por sus portadas del Saturday Evening Post, y responsable de varios de los carteles de propaganda de Don't Talk de la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
Asistió a la Escuela de Arte de Cleveland. Trabajó tanto en bellas artes como en arte comercial. Fue miembro de la Sociedad Nacional de Pintores Murales y de la Sociedad de Ilustradores. Stevan Dohanos was an American artist and illustrator of the social realism school, born in Lorain, Ohio, in 1907, best known for his Saturday Evening Post covers, and responsible for several of the Don't Talk set of World War II propaganda posters.
He attended the Cleveland School of Art. He worked in fine art as well as in commercial art. He was a member of the National Society of Mural Painters and the Society of Illustrators. He was a founding faculty member of the Famous Artists School of Westport, Connecticut. He worked for the Section of Painting and Sculpture of the U.S. Treasury Department, painting several post office murals
His first magazine illustration was for McCall's in 1938. In the early 1940s, he moved to Westport, Connecticut, and in 1942 he sold his first cover painting to The Saturday Evening Post. Dohanos went on to paint over 125 Post covers during the 1940s and 1950s. He also illustrated for Esquire and other magazines.
In the 1960s he became chairman of the Citizens' Stamp Advisory Committee, which selected art to appear on United States postage stamps. He selected art for over 300 postage stamps during the administration of seven Presidents of the United States and nine Postmaster Generals. In 1984, the Postal Service's Hall of Stamps in Washington was dedicated in his honor.
His easel paintings and prints have been displayed in several museums. He was a member of the Dutch Treat Club in New York City
He died in 1994.
