Hoy finalizamos un nuevo año, el décimo de "El Hurgador", marcado, como para todo el mundo, por las extrañas circunstancias que nos han tocado vivir.
Como funcionario en un servicio de salud he vivido muy de cerca lo mejor y lo peor que nos ha dejado la pandemia. Que cada uno decida qué ha sido.
Las publicaciones del blog se han visto reducidas en cantidad, por diversas cuestiones, pero no en calidad. Cualquier seguidor del proyecto habrá podido notar que buena parte del mérito se lo lleva Shirley Rebuffo, quien con sus entrevistas, casi todas a artistas sudamericanos, ha presentado el grueso del material que hemos publicado, sobre todo en la segunda mitad del año.
Como siempre, las expectativas para el próximo año apuntan a mejorar lo hecho hasta ahora. No es seguro que el ritmo de las publicaciones vaya a aumentar, pero en todo caso seguiré adelante en la medida de mis posibilidades, contando con los invalorables aportes y propuestas de Shirley y todos los buenos amigos del blog que siempre están ahí.
Les deseo lo mejor para el año que entra. Con que sea un poco menos raro que los dos que han pasado ya será suficiente.

Today we end a new year, the tenth of "El Hurgador", marked, as for everyone else, by the strange circumstances that we have had to live through.
As a civil servant in a health service I have lived very closely the best and the worst that the pandemic has left us. Let each one decide what it has been.
Blog posts have been reduced in quantity, for various reasons, but not in quality. Any follower of the project will have noticed that much of the credit goes to Shirley Rebuffo, who with her interviews, almost all of them with South American artists, has presented the bulk of the material we have published, especially in the second half of the year.
As always, the expectations for next year are to improve on what has been done so far. It is not certain that the pace of publications will increase, but in any case I will continue to move forward to the extent of my possibilities, counting on the invaluable contributions and proposals of Shirley and all the good friends of the blog who are always there.
I wish you all the best for the coming year. As long as it is a little less strange than the two that have passed it will be enough.
